Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther of a flower to the stigma of a flower.

There are two ways of pollination: Cross pollination and self pollination.

Cross pollination involves the transfer of anther from a flower to the stigma of another flower.

Self pollination occurs with the transfer of anther to the stigma WITHIN the same flower.

Seeds --> Seedling --> Young Plant --> Adult Plant --> Flower --> Fruits --> Seeds

The cycle repeats itself.

Pollination and fertilisation occurs ONLY IN FLOWERING PLANTS.

We have started on a new topic "My Amazing Adventures"

From characters, we now move on to one of the events / actions that they encounter and that is adventures.

Adventures can involve mystery, happiness, sorrow, disappointment and fear.

We are looking at the story of Gulliver's Travels for this topic. It is an important theme for composition writings. Look out for the vocabulary words as you read through the topic.

Dear Parents,

As of late, some pupils have perpetually forgotten to complete (on time) or bring their homework for lessons. Can i seek your help in getting the students to complete their work?
