Onward towards Prelim Exams

Dear all,

It is now midweek of term 3. Oral examinations would have been over by today. Now, lets' work towards doing well for your prelim exams which will begin in week 5. We have finished our syllabus and are now busy revising for the exams. Be prepared for practice papers to be done in class/home and to come prepared in going through the questions.

For direct to indirect speech, always remember to start off your answer with the NOUN (Subject) first followed by the VERB when you see a question mark.

"Did Mary walk to school?" asked Peter.

Peter asked if Mary had walked to school.
                    (Noun)   (Verb)

Science


  • Carbon dioxide in the air does not affect the depletion of ozone layer. It has no direct link at all. So do not be mistaken. Carbon dioxide traps heat and causes global warming. 
  • Using CFC products causes depletion of the ozone layer, letting Ultraviolet rays of the sun, which are harmful, to shine onto the Earth's surface. 
Don't forget your homework to be passed up on Friday.
