Life Cycles

Dear all,

Key learning points of the day

For Science,

Living things reproduce to ensure continuity of their own kinds.

Parents pass on their characteristics to their young when they reproduce.

Only natural physical traits are passed on.

Sometimes, certain traits may skip a generation or two.

Life cycles are important as they help us understand how humans or plants reproduce to ensure continuity of their own kind.

For English,

We learn about characters being important to stories with the continuity of the Dorothy's adventures in the Wizard of Oz.

Musicals are movies that showcases singing and music instead of the usual conversations.

when we use a 'verb' after the word 'to', it must be in the PRESENT TENSE and SINGULAR form.

e.g He likes to run. He wants to go to the beach.

Please take note of this common mistake.

Reminders

-Unit 2 spelling test tomorrow!!!

-Return your sold / unsold donation tickets by next Wednesday (8th FEB)

-Bring your LIFE CYCLES textbook for Science tomorrow.

Thank You,
Sincerely,
Mr Nelson Ong.
